To inaugurate the Somogyi Lajos Recreational Center’s new horse driving field, Kunszallas hosts an outstanding equestrian event between August 24 and 26. The spectacular, new marathon field – Hungary’s best, without a doubt – was designed by Gabor Fintha himself, Chief d’Equipe of the horse driving teams and the pairs.
The Kunszallas inaugural horse driving competition is also the final round of the Duna-Tisza Regional Championship for category “B” pairs and teams.

In the evening
Kunszallas provides cultural events as well on the weekend of the horse driving competition. Actors of the Jozsef Katona Theater Kecskemet will perform the folk play “Furfangos Peter” (Tricky Pete), in collaboration with the Kunszallas Pensioners Choral Society, the Grund Youth Club, preschool and school students, and the UNIVER Folk-song Choral Society.
